Veneers are thin shells made of porcelain, ceramic or acrylic that improve the appearance of chipped, stained, irregular or poorly spaced teeth. Dentists also use them when required fillings are substantial.
Lab-created porcelain veneers
For this technique, a first visit is required to make an impression of the tooth and send it to a lab, which then prepares a custom porcelain veneer. During your second visit, we affix the veneer with a special cement, made to ensure a perfect hold.
In-chair composite veneers
This approach allows for veneers to be applied in one single visit using a material called “composite resin”, which is used mostly in esthetic dentistry. The results are highly satisfactory.
