Ulcers

Quite painful, an ulcer is circular in appearance, flat and white with a red border. It is mostly found on the lateral edges of the tongue or inside the lips towards the vestibule. It can be triggered by trauma, such as a bite or an injury from food. In some cases, the cause is unknown. Some people experience it more regularly without ever understanding why.

• Avoid acidic and spicy foods to limit the burning sensation.
• There are no miracle cures or products to heal ulcers.
