Dental crowns and bridges: permanent solutions

How are dental crowns and bridges installed?

A crown is a proven, cosmetic restorative solution used to cover and protect a damaged tooth, while a bridge is used to replace a missing tooth. Both treatments are permanently fixed in the mouth and custom-made. They can be made of porcelain, ceramic or a ceramic-metallic alloy.

We are equipped with a CEREC AC machine, a state-of-the-art technology that allows us to make crowns in a single session. With the help of an optical impression, you’ll see your new tooth designed before your eyes! To proceed, the dentist will trim your tooth to keep only the healthy and resistant structures. Once restored, your tooth will regain its function and will need to be maintained as recommended.

A bridge is the best treatment to replace a missing tooth and, at the same time, strengthen the adjacent teeth. In fact, since the bridge rests on the neighbouring teeth, they are also covered.
