Gum treatment

Periodontal disease treatments prevent and treat infections of the gums and tissues that surround and support the teeth. In adulthood the leading cause of oral health problem including tooth lost is gum disease (periodontal disease). Almost 75% of adults suffer from gum problems in varying degrees during their lives. To keep your teeth healthy, they should be cleaned by dislodging the accumulated plaque and tartar. Other treatments may also be necessary depending on the condition of the gums. We use advanced techniques such as Periowave laser to control and eliminate the infection quickly and painlessly. Prevention is therefore required to keep the gum in good health!

Root canal treatment

Learn more

Endodontics is a branch of dentistry dedicated to the treatment of an inflamed or diseased pulp chamber (soft tissue inside your teeth containing blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue). At the Centre Dentaire Daneault, root canal treatments are performed under local anesthesia.

The Goal of Root Canal Treatment

When nerves and blood vessels in the tooth are damaged by bacterial contamination, the tooth, in most instances, becomes painful. For example, a dental abscess. The goal of root canal procedures is to save a painful tooth by removing pulp tissue from canals inside the tooth, through prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to dental pulp.

This treatment can also be used to remove a healthy pulp in order to rebuild a damaged tooth. Once the canals are cleaned, shaped and filled with a special material, the tooth is then restored, usually with a pivot tooth and a crown. Usually completed in a single session, this is a safe and simple procedure.

If necessary, feel free to contact our dental health professionals who will be pleased to assist residents of the Sainte-Thérèse, Blainville, Boisbriand and surrounding areas.

Crown and Bridges

These solutions are proven aesthetic dental restoration. A crown is used to cover and protect a damaged tooth while the bridge is used to replace a missing tooth. Both treatments are fixed in the mouth permanently. They may be composed of metal, or porcelain fused to metal. We have a CEREC AC unit which allows us to prepare and fix a crown in a single session.

Partial and complete denture

Partial dentures can replace one or more teeth using small hooks to retain itself to the surrounding healthy teeth. Complete dentures are used when all natural teeth are missing. Both types of dentures are removable.
